Stonebrook Community Church is a Christian community that has grown since 1972 from a small, campus Bible fellowship into a thriving, multi-generational congregation.
We believe that God calls us to extend his love and the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people in the Ames area, to the students of Iowa State University, and to the world. We strive to perpetuate our church's legacy for God's glory by planting new churches as He enables and leads us.
Stonebrook Community Church is a member of Great Commission Plains, an association of evangelical Christian churches in Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. Great Commission Plains is a member of Great Commission Churches (GCC), united with other like-minded churches in GCC for advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Great Commission Churches is a member of the National Association of Evangelicals and the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
