Stonebrook Community Church started in 1972 as a small, campus Bible fellowship and has since grown into a thriving, multi-generational congregation.

We believe that God calls us to extend his love and the hope found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people in the Ames area, to the nation, and to the world through evangelism, church planting, and missions work.

Stonebrook is a partner of the Baptist Convention of Iowa, a state-level network affiliate of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). The SBC is a global network of independent cooperating churches and exists to equip the local church to preach the gospel, make disciples, and plant churches across the United States and all over the world for God’s glory.

Stonebrook was formerly a member of Great Commission Churches, which dissolved in 2020.
